Infamous “Injection Auntie” Addresses Allegations Of Faking Her Medical Credentials

Businessman Lee, who is identified as comedian Park Na Rae‘s “injection auntie,” has made claims that she is a legitimate medical practitioner in China.

Lee has recently been in the spotlight under the nickname “Injection Auntie” due to her connections with notable figures in the Korean entertainment industry. She stands accused of medical malpractice for administering drugs to individuals despite not being a doctor. However, Lee has continued to assert that she is a professor at a Chinese medical school.

As per reports, Lee has stated that she was a professor at Inner Mongolia Medical University from 2014 to 2019. She claimed that she was unable to travel to Inner Mongolia in 2019 due to the COVID-19 pandemic and faced financial struggles as a result of the pandemic-related economic downturn. “I was also notified late that the school was changed to a University of Science and Technology in July 2021,” she added.

This statement was Lee’s rebuttal to criticism from medical groups that the Inner Mongolia Pokang Medical University Hospital in China, which Lee previously claimed she worked at, is a nonexistent medical school. In addition, medical organizations such as the Korean Medical Association have filed complaints against her, stating that even if Lee graduated from a medical school in China, she didn’t hold a valid Korean medical license to practice in the country and therefore engaged in illegal medical practices.

Lee was accused of performing illegal medical procedures on Park Na Rae and SHINee’s Key, among other celebrities, and carrying them out in non-medical settings, including Park Na Rae’s home and filming locations. While Park’s side has not addressed these allegations, Key claimed that he was under the impression that Lee was an authorized medical professional to perform the procedures.
